Starting with a lightweight, smooth-bore, Type III hard anodized aluminum body, these front shocks from Hotchkis are built for a balance of comfortable ride and sharp handling. They use advanced mono tube shock technology, featuring a digressive disc design and a high-flow piston with specially formulated oil. This setup, combined with high-pressure nitrogen, helps maintain consistent performance even as temperatures change, which is crucial for predictable control on the road. The 1/2-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy shaft is built for durability, having passed 100-hour salt spray testing, and a dual seal wiper/scraper keeps contaminants out to protect the main seal.
