The 1.5-inch smooth-bore, Type III hard-anodized aluminum body on these Hotchkis shocks is a solid starting point, offering a lightweight yet durable foundation for improved suspension performance. These rear shocks are specifically tuned by Hotchkis engineers, working with Fox, to bring a smoother ride and better control to a range of classic Mopar vehicles. Inside, these shocks utilize digressive disc technology and a high-flow piston, paired with specially formulated oil and high-pressure nitrogen. The 1/2-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy shaft is built for durability, having passed 100-hour salt spray testing.
