Hotchkis 70-81 Camaro/Firebird Tubular Upper A-Arms

When you're rebuilding the front end of your 1970-1981 Camaro or Firebird, you're looking for parts that offer more than just a stock replacement. They come complete with upper ball joints and smooth-operating Delrin bushings already installed, and the cross-shafts are made from silver zinc-plated 4130 Chromoly billet for strength. The arms themselves are constructed from 1.25-inch tubular steel and are 100% TIG-welded for a solid build.

What sets these arms apart is their geometry-corrected design. They offer increased camber and caster adjustment compared to your original equipment. This means you can dial in more negative camber for better cornering grip and more caster for improved high-speed stability and better tire contact during turns. The offset cross-shaft design helps achieve this increased static negative camber without needing a large stack of alignment shims, and it can also help with header clearance. The Delrin bushings minimize deflection, ensuring precise suspension movement.

These upper A-arms are finished in a durable gloss black powder coat and are designed as a bolt-on installation. For the best results and maximum handling potential, Hotchkis recommends pairing them with their tubular lower A-arms. This combination can help you achieve up to 9 degrees of caster and -3.5 degrees of camber.
