ICON 05-23 Toyota Tacoma Lower Control Arm Kit

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Lower Control Arm Kit for your 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma starts with a fully welded, boxed steel plate construction, internally braced with multiple ribs. This design offers significantly improved strength over the stock control arms, making them a solid choice for off-road adventures. The high ground clearance design, with specially angled plates, allows the arms to easily slide over larger obstacles on the trail, reducing the chance of hang-ups. CNC machined forged steel ball joint housings are incorporated to maintain the highest possible ground clearance while also ensuring strength and proper CV boot clearance for 4WD Tacoma models.

Instead of traditional top-mounted coilover tabs, these LCAs use recessed coilover mounts. This not only increases strength but also gives a race-inspired look. The integrated secondary shock mounting tabs connect seamlessly with the ICON S2 Secondary Shock System, allowing for a bolt-on installation of multiple secondary shock options. This setup effectively doubles the front suspension's damping ability and enhances off-road performance. For street driving, the lower ball joints are a metal-on-metal, greaseable design. This avoids the short service life and noises often associated with uniballs, while still handling the demands of aggressive off-road use. The inner pivot bushings are bonded polyurethane, designed to minimize deflection and improve handling without hindering suspension movement through its full range. These bushings also require no greasing or maintenance throughout their service life.
