ICON 09-12 Ram 2500/3500 4.5in Stage 5 Suspension System

ICON's 4.5-inch Stage 5 suspension system for the 2009-2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 (covering 2009-2010 Dodge Ram and 2011-2013 Ram branded models) is a comprehensive lift package built for heavy-duty trucks that see serious off-road use. This system brings 4.5 inches of lift, clearance for 35-inch tires without modification (and some 37-inch tires with minor fender trimming), and the kind of damping control that factory suspension cannot deliver.

The component list is extensive: dual-rate coil springs, tubular steel upper and lower link arms, polyurethane bumpstops with billet extension, sway bar drop brackets, a forged pitman arm, track bar drop bracket, and ICON 2.5-inch V.S. Series shocks with CDC valves. The bearing-style adjustable track bar is a notable inclusion -- it uses bearings instead of flexible factory joints for more rigidity, and it is adjustable for centering the front axle under the truck after the lift is installed.

The 2.5-inch V.S. Series shocks feature FK bearings, billet top caps and rod ends, 7/8-inch shafts, and what ICON calls the industry's only forged stem on a 2.5-inch shock with rolled threads. The CDC valves give you externally adjustable compression damping, so you can tune the ride from the outside of the shock without pulling anything apart. These shocks extend consistent damping performance across varying conditions.

The tubular steel upper and lower link arms replace the factory pieces to reduce bind, increase strength, and improve alignment range. On a heavy-duty truck with coil-link front suspension, the link arms are critical to how the whole system functions. ICON's tubes reduce the deflection and bind found in factory bushings, which translates to a better-behaved axle over uneven terrain and cleaner steering feedback.
