ICON Vehicle Dynamics presents their V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers, a significant upgrade for the 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma. These adjustable coilovers allow for 0-3.5 inches of lift on 2005-2015 models, and 0-2.75 inches on 2016-2023 models. This adjustability means you can fit larger, more aggressive tires and wheels to your truck. The vehicle-specific tuning of the shocks, combined with a larger 2.5-inch shock body and increased piston area compared to stock, maximizes wheel travel and delivers superior ride quality and suspension performance whether you're on the pavement or tackling tough trails.

The remote reservoirs are key here; they significantly increase the shock's oil volume and the surface area for heat dissipation. This helps prevent overheating and cavitation, which can lead to damper fade during hard use. Because these coilovers offer extended travel, you will need to install aftermarket front upper control arms to accommodate the extra movement. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves (CDCV) are included, giving you 10 settings to precisely dial in your suspension's compression damping. This allows you to fine-tune the ride for street driving, slow rock crawling, or high-speed desert running. For a balanced feel front-to-rear, consider pairing these with ICON 2.0 or 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks.

This kit includes everything needed for installation, such as reservoir mounting brackets designed for optimal tire clearance, sway bar relocation brackets, 5/8-inch PTFE-lined spherical bearings, ICON-engineered coil springs, a billet aluminum upper mount, and a CAD-plated threaded body. The entire assembly is completely rebuildable, ensuring long-term performance and serviceability.
