These shocks are specifically tuned and valved for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra when equipped with a 6-inch lift kit, aiming to provide a noticeable improvement in both off-road capability and on-road ride quality.

ICON builds these shocks with a one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinder, which helps resist corrosion and maintain a consistent finish. Inside, a one-piece digressive piston design works with vehicle-specific valving to offer a tailored damping response. The larger 2.5-inch diameter and internal reservoir design compared to standard 2.0 series shocks allow for increased oil volume, which aids in better heat dissipation and sustained performance during demanding use. They use premium 5WT shock oil to ensure consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures, and the 7/8-inch induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shafts add strength.
