Will this kit fit a 2WD Tacoma?

This kit is configured for 4WD models and includes a front differential drop kit (part 55160) for proper CV joint angles. ICON notes that 2WD-specific kits are coming soon, and the other system components can be purchased individually for 2WD.

What tire and wheel sizes are recommended?

ICON recommends 33x11.50-inch tires. Larger tires may fit but could require fender trimming. For wheels, they recommend ICON Alloys in 17x8.5 with 25mm offset or 18x9 with 25mm offset. OEM wheels and tires also fit.

How much weight can the overland rear coils support?

The dual-rate overland rear coils are designed to provide 0.5 inches of rear lift with approximately 600 pounds of additional weight. The softer initial rate handles the unloaded ride, while the firmer overload rate engages as weight increases.

CDXS Compression Damping

Every shock in this system is equipped with ICON's CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) valves. These give you independent control over low-speed and high-speed compression force, each with 10 detented adjustment positions. Low-speed controls how the truck reacts to body roll, braking, and weight transfer. High-speed controls how it handles sharp impacts and rough terrain. Being able to tune these separately means you can set up the truck differently for highway cruising versus a rocky trail -- and everything in between.

Billet Components Where They Count

The kit includes ICON's billet aluminum upper control arms with their patented Delta Joint PRO, which offers 90 degrees of total articulation without binding. The rear gets billet lower links with on-vehicle pinion angle adjustability. These are machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum -- strong, light, and built to last.

Overland Rear Coil Design

The dual-rate rear coils are specifically designed for overland-equipped Tacomas. They provide 0.5 inches of rear lift over stock with approximately 600 pounds of additional weight in the rear. A softer initial rate keeps the ride comfortable, while a firmer overload rate kicks in to support gear, armor, and accessories without bottoming out.
