The 6061-T6 aluminum intake tube in this Injen RD Series cold air intake is mandrel-bent, meaning it has a smooth, uninterrupted path for air to flow into your 2003-2008 Mazda 6 with the 2.3L engine. This design helps eliminate restrictions that the factory intake box can create, allowing for more air to reach the engine. The tube is strategically placed behind the front bumper to draw in the coolest, densest air possible, which can lead to noticeable power gains.

This system is designed to provide an aggressive engine tone under full throttle, giving you an audible cue of the improved airflow. It includes a fully serviceable Injen SuperNano-Web dry air filter, which offers a large surface area for increased airflow and effective filtration without needing oil.
