Injen 10-21 Toyota 4Runner Cold Air Intake System - Oiled Filter

Starting with the roto-molded polyethylene housing, this Injen Evolution cold air intake system is built to last and designed to feed your 2010-2023 Toyota 4Runner's 4.0L V6 engine with cooler, denser air. The one-piece housing uses Injen's Twist-Lock system to securely hold a massive 8-layer oiled cotton gauze air filter in place, which is key for maximizing airflow and filtration efficiency. This design also helps create a more aggressive under-hood appearance while maintaining a factory-like fit.

The intake tube itself is custom-designed and dyno-tuned to help produce notable horsepower and torque gains, up to 13 hp and 15 ft-lbs according to Injen's testing. It includes a patented tuning process that ensures accurate MAF sensor readings and prevents check engine lights. A functional ram air scoop is integrated to capture cool, fresh air, and it comes with a urethane plug for off-road use to prevent water or debris from entering the engine. The kit includes stainless steel band clamps with protective liners and automotive-grade silicone couplers for a solid connection.

Installation is designed to be straightforward, using factory mounting locations and fewer parts thanks to the Twist-Lock system. While this intake offers an aggressive growl under acceleration and improved performance, it's important to note that it is not CARB exempt and cannot be shipped to California or used on vehicles registered there.
