This pipe is designed to replace the factory hot side charge pipe, which can be a restriction in the system. By using a larger, 3.00-inch internal diameter, this pipe helps move hot air smoothly and quickly to the intercooler, which can improve throttle response and reduce turbo lag.

This pipe is constructed from mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, meaning it has smooth, consistent bends that don't restrict airflow. Every bend and TIG weld is done by hand at Injen's facility in Pomona, California, ensuring a well-built part. The beaded tube ends are there to help keep the silicone couplers from slipping off under pressure, and it uses automotive-grade reinforced silicone couplers and stainless steel clamps with a protective liner for a solid connection. It also utilizes the factory mounting locations and quick connections, making installation straightforward.

While this pipe works well on its own, Injen recommends pairing it with their cold side charge pipe (SES9004ICPC) for even better performance. This particular unit is the hot side pipe only, finished in a Wrinkle Red coating.
