This is the Injen SP Aluminum Series Short Ram Air Intake System, specifically made for the 2022 through 2024 Volkswagen GTI with the L4-2.0L Turbo engine. The factory intake on your MK8 GTI can be pretty restrictive, choking off airflow to the turbo and limiting its potential. This Injen system opens things up with a large, 3.5-inch diameter intake tube that helps your turbo and engine breathe much easier, while keeping intake velocity up to deliver the power you're looking for.

The heart of this system is the 6061-T6 aluminum tubing, which is mandrel-bent for a smooth, uninterrupted path for air. It includes a custom-designed heat shield to help keep hot engine bay air away from the filter.
