Your 2019-2025 Nissan Altima 2.5L engine vents crankcase pressure back into the intake system. This process can carry a lot of oil vapor, which can accumulate in your intake tube and manifold, and even dilute your gasoline, lowering its octane rating. This J&L oil separator is designed to catch that oil before it reaches your intake.

This unit is milled from solid billet aluminum, making it a very strong piece. It features a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the collected oil, and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. The multi-stage filtering system starts with a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap small oil vapors. These vapors then pass through a 1/2-inch thick aluminum honeycomb filter, where they combine and become heavy enough to fall into the 3-ounce capacity tank. By the time the oil passes through the filter, it's too heavy to be carried into the intake. You should drain the tank every 2000-3000 miles.
