J-B Weld Professional Size Steel Reinforced Epoxy (10 oz)

J-B Weld has been the go-to two-part epoxy for mechanics and DIYers since the 1960s, and the 8280 is the professional-size 10-ounce version of their original formula. Mixed at a simple 1:1 ratio, it sets in 4 to 6 hours and reaches full cure in 15 to 24 hours, hardening to a dark grey finish.

Once cured, this epoxy holds up to 5020 PSI of tensile strength and can handle temperatures up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It bonds to metal, wood, plastic, ceramic, tile, fiberglass, concrete, and more. The cured material is fully waterproof and resistant to petroleum, chemicals, and acid, which is why it works well in automotive and marine environments where parts are exposed to harsh conditions.

After it hardens, you can shape it, tap it, file it, sand it, and drill it just like metal. The 10-ounce professional size makes sense if you go through epoxy regularly in the shop or have a bigger repair ahead of you rather than a quick patch job.
