Built from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are forged in the USA to handle the demands of high-performance BMW B58B30 and Toyota B58C30 3.0L turbo engines. The 2618 alloy offers the high tensile strength necessary for engines pushed beyond their stock limits, whether for track use or serious street performance. This set is designed specifically for these engines, ensuring optimized performance and durability.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which features reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin. This not only saves weight but also helps minimize friction and power loss. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving the seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
