Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance 2.0T TSI engine. The 2618 alloy offers high tensile strength, which is crucial when you're pushing your engine beyond stock limits. Each piston features an inverted dome design with a -7.1cc volume, contributing to a 9.6:1 compression ratio, a popular choice for balanced street and track performance.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This means reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. For applications that benefit from it, an accumulator groove is included to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.
