This kit gives you a complete set of four forged pistons, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons are specifically built for the 2013 and newer Hyundai Gamma GDI 1.6L Turbo engine, featuring a 77.5mm bore and a -8.7cc dish. They are designed to handle the rigors of high-performance applications, offering a balance of durability and power output.

Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons have the high tensile strength needed for demanding engine builds. JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter, and a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also quieting down operation.
