JE Pistons 2013+ Hyundai Gamma GDI 1.6L Turbo 77mm Bore -8.2cc Dish Piston Kit (Set of 4 Pistons)

This kit gives you a complete set of four forged pistons, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons are built for the 2013 and newer Hyundai Gamma GDI 1.6L Turbo engine, featuring a 77mm bore and an -8.2cc dish to achieve a 9.50:1 compression ratio. They are engineered specifically for this engine and performance applications, using 2618 aluminum which offers the high tensile strength needed for demanding use.

JE Pistons has incorporated their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which uses a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin to minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
