Starting with a 2618 aluminum forging, these JE Pistons are built for serious performance in your 2013 and newer VW/Audi 2.0T TSI engine. The -5.2cc dish combined with an 83mm bore results in a 10.0:1 compression ratio, a popular choice for boosted applications where you want a bit more power without sacrificing too much reliability. These pistons are designed specifically for this engine, ensuring they work well with the factory cylinder head and block configuration.

JE Pistons uses their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which reduces skirt width and friction, saving weight and minimizing power loss. This design, along with an accumulator groove (where applicable for the application) helps manage combustion pressures, leading to better ring seal and consistent power delivery. Many applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down the engine operation.
