JE Pistons 302/351 SBF DISH Set of 8 Pistons

This kit gets you a complete set of eight JE Pistons, designed for 302/351 SBF engines. These pistons feature an inverted dish design and are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications. Each piston is machined to a 4.125 inch bore size, with a -10.2cc dish volume, and includes a 0.927 inch pin. They are made 100% in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' extensive experience in crafting performance engine components.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features aimed at improving durability and performance. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and utilizing a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, again application-dependent, is used to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

These pistons are specifically designed for each engine and use application, aiming for optimized performance and durability.
