This set is specifically designed for the 302 SBF engine, featuring a -26cc dish volume and a 4.040-inch bore size. They are made 100% in the USA, drawing on over 75 years of experience in racing piston design to offer a combination of durability and performance.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
