They're forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial when you're pushing an engine hard, whether on the track or the street.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table with these pistons. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for steady power delivery. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set is built for a 4.030-inch bore and features a flat-top design with a -5.0cc dish. The included wrist pin is 0.927 inches.
