JE Pistons 302 SBF TWST -11CC Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons designed for a 302 Small Block Ford (SBF) engine, featuring a -11cc inverted dome dish. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical. They are built to fit a 4.030 inch bore with a 1.100 inch compression distance and use a 0.927 inch wrist pin.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to enhance performance and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and utilizing a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may include an accumulator groove to reduce pressure from combustion gases, helping to prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, also application-dependent, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
