JE Pistons 305 SBC FT Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons 305 SBC FT pistons, designed for a 3.766-inch bore. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance engines. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs, aiming for a balance of durability and performance that's proven in racing environments.

Each piston features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and power loss, while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

These pistons are specifically made for the 305 SBC engine and are intended for performance use. They have a flat top design with a -5.0 cc volume and a 1.560-inch compression distance, using a 0.927-inch pin. Please note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
