JE Pistons 350-18 SBC .225 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically designed for SBC (Small Block Chevrolet) engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your build. These aren't just any pistons; they're forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed hard in racing or high-performance street applications.

JE Pistons has been making performance pistons for over 75 years, and they've put that experience into this set. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which means the skirts are narrower and use a shorter wrist pin. This not only saves weight but also helps reduce friction and power loss. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure for better ring seal and consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to a quieter engine operation.

These pistons are designed with a .225 dome and a 4.030-inch bore, with a 1.250-inch compression distance and a 0.927-inch pin.
