JE Pistons 350/400 SBC DOME Set of 8 Pistons

When you're building a high-performance 350 or 400 Small Block Chevy, the pistons are a critical component. This set from JE Pistons includes eight dome-style pistons, forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA. They're built to handle the demands of performance applications, whether you're hitting the drag strip or just want a serious upgrade for your street machine.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which means these pistons have a reduced skirt width. This not only helps save weight but also minimizes friction and power loss. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to keep your rings sealed tight and your power consistent. Some applications also include a skirt coating that works to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

These pistons are designed specifically for the 350/400 SBC engine, with a 4.165-inch bore and a 6.0 cc dome volume. The kit includes the pistons, wrist pins (0.927 inch), and locks.
