They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

The pistons have a 4.030 inch bore size, a .300 inch dome, and come with a 1.125 inch compression distance and a 0.927 inch pin diameter.
