Crafted from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, these pistons offer the high tensile strength required for serious engine builds. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also saves weight, especially when paired with the shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed for a 4.040-inch bore with a .300-inch dome and a 1.425-inch compression distance. They use a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
