JE Pistons 350 SBC .450 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons is known for making well-built forged racing pistons, bringing over 75 years of experience to their lineup for domestic engines. This set of eight pistons is specifically made for the 350 Small Block Chevy engine, featuring a .450 dome to help achieve a desired compression ratio. They are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which provides the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and power loss, while also saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation.

This set is designed for a 4.040 inch bore and includes a 0.927 inch pin. The 13.5 cc dome volume is a key feature for tuning compression. It's important to note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
