Starting with a 2618 aluminum forging, these JE Pistons are built for serious performance. This material offers the high tensile strength needed for engines pushed to their limits, whether that's on the drag strip or a dirt track. JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and they engineer each set specifically for the intended engine and application to give you the best mix of durability and power.

You'll find a few notable design choices here that make a difference. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design uses a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin to cut down on friction and weight, which means less power loss. Depending on your specific application, you might also get an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to keep your rings seated properly and maintain consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls, helping to quiet things down and extend the life of your engine components.

These pistons are made 100% in the USA, from the forging process all the way through machining. This set is designed for a 4.030 inch bore and includes 8 pistons. Keep in mind that these are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
