They are forged and machined entirely in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits.

These pistons feature JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. This set is designed for a 4.030 inch bore with a flat top piston design and includes a 0.927 inch pin.
