You'll notice a few design details that set these apart. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design uses a reduced skirt width to cut down on friction and power loss, while also saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to keep your rings seated properly for consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear, which can even quiet down the engine's operation. This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.060 inch bore diameter and a flat top design. They come with a 0.927 inch pin diameter.
