JE Pistons 351 STRKR TWIST DISH Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons 351 STRKR TWIST DISH pistons, designed for a 4.030 inch bore. You get the pistons themselves, ready for installation in your engine build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines under heavy load and high performance demands.

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and this set reflects that experience. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.
