JE Pistons 360 SPRINT/BROD 11X Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons 360 SPRINT/BROD 11X pistons. Each piston has a 4.030 inch bore, a 1.250 inch compression distance, and uses a 0.927 inch wrist pin. The dome volume is 14.0 cc, designed for an 11:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications.

JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and this set reflects that experience. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring seal and maintain consistent power. Some applications also receive a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
