This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically sized for a 4.030 inch bore on a 350 Small Block Chevy (SBC) engine. These pistons feature an inverted dome design and are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications. They are engineered and manufactured entirely in the USA, drawing on JE Pistons' extensive experience in forged racing components.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to enhance performance and durability. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and utilizing a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and reducing ring flutter. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
