Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of high-performance Ford 302 engines. With a 4.030-inch bore, they're designed for builders looking to maximize displacement and power. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, helping to prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a -11.0 cc dish volume, designed for an 8.5:1 compression ratio when installed in a typical Ford 302 application.
