These pistons are forged and machined 100% in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed when you're pushing your engine hard.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width, and it saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help lower operating noise.
