These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which provides the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance builds. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This kit includes eight pistons, each with a 4.060-inch bore and a flat top design. The kit comes with a 1.550-inch compression distance and a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
