Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons 4.6 2V STRKR pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance engine. The 2618 alloy offers high tensile strength, which is crucial when you're pushing an engine hard, whether that's on the track or in a serious street build. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower, shorter skirt and a lighter wrist pin.
