This set of eight 4.6L 2V MOD STRKR pistons is built with that same dedication to performance and durability. They are forged and machined entirely in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines pushed to their limits.

These pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and ensuring a consistent seal for reliable power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life. Each piston is specifically designed for the 4.6L 2V engine and its intended use, aiming for an optimized balance of performance and longevity.
