JE Pistons 4.6 2V MOD STRKR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This product includes a set of eight JE Pistons 4.6 2V MOD STRKR pistons, designed for a 9.5:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines operating under demanding performance conditions. Each piston features a 3.562-inch bore and a 0.866-inch pin diameter, with an inverted dome/dish design to achieve the specified compression ratio.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs, and this set is no exception. They incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

These pistons are engineered and machined 100% in the USA, specifically for the 4.6 2V engine application to provide an optimized combination of performance and durability.
