JE Pistons 4.6 2V MOD STRKR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This product is a set of eight JE Pistons 4.6 2V MOD STRKR pistons, designed for a 9.5:1 compression ratio. Each piston measures 3.622 inches in bore diameter, features a 1.200-inch compression distance, and uses a 0.866-inch wrist pin. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications.

JE Pistons has over 75 years of experience in creating forged racing pistons. These particular pistons incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring fluttering and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

These pistons are engineered and machined 100% in the USA, specifically for the 4.6 2V engine application to provide an optimized combination of performance and durability.
