They've applied this knowledge to their range of forged pistons for domestic engines. These 4.6 2V MOD STRKR pistons are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, specifically for this engine and performance applications, aiming for a balance of durability and performance.

This set features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may include an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power output. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also lowering operating noise. Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer the high tensile strength required for demanding performance builds.

This set includes 8 pistons, each with a 3.701-inch bore, a 1.200-inch compression distance, and an 0.866-inch pin diameter. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to California's Proposition 65 warning.
