JE Pistons 4.6 2V MODULAR 11:1 Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they apply that experience to their domestic engine components. This set of eight pistons is specifically made for the 4.6 2V Modular engine, featuring an 11:1 compression ratio. They are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum for the high tensile strength needed in demanding performance applications.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. The design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
