JE Pistons 4.6 2V MODULAR 11:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This product includes a set of eight JE Pistons, designed for the 4.6 2V Modular engine with an 11:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines built for demanding performance applications. Each piston features a 3.622-inch bore and includes a 0.866-inch wrist pin, with an inverted dome/dish design to achieve the specified compression ratio.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these components, applying their expertise to create pistons optimized for specific engines and racing uses. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design is incorporated to minimize friction and reduce power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power output. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
