JE Pistons 4.6 2V MODULAR 11:1 Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they apply that experience to their domestic engine components. This set of eight pistons is specifically made for the 4.6 2V Modular engine, featuring an 11:1 compression ratio. They are forged and machined 100% in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines built for demanding performance applications.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This advanced forging minimizes friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width, and further saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.
