JE Pistons 4.6 2V MODULAR 8.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they've applied that experience to their domestic engine components. This set of eight pistons is specifically made for the 4.6 2V Modular engine, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio. They are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
