JE Pistons 4.6 2V MODULAR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for the 4.6 2V Modular engine, featuring a 9.5:1 compression ratio, a 3.572-inch bore, and a 0.866-inch wrist pin. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the stresses of performance engines.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which reduces skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin to minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power output. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help lower operating noise.
