If you're building a high-performance 4.6L 3V engine for serious street or track use, a strong set of pistons is where you start. These JE Pistons STRKR series pistons are built for demanding applications, offering an 11:1 compression ratio to get the most out of your engine's power potential.

JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and these are forged and machined entirely in the USA from 2618 aluminum. This material gives them the high tensile strength needed for high-demand performance applications. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power. Some applications also get a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down the engine's operating noise.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.701-inch bore, a 1.200-inch compression distance, and a 0.866-inch wrist pin.
