JE Pistons 4.6 3V MOD STRKR 8.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they put that experience into their domestic engine components. This set of eight 4.6 3V STRKR pistons is forged and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum for the high tensile strength needed in demanding performance builds. They are designed specifically for the 4.6 3V engine to give you the best combination of durability and performance.

These pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down operating noise.

This set is designed for an 8.5:1 compression ratio and has a 3.552-inch bore with a 0.866-inch wrist pin. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
